World Projects
“Problem-based” Projects (“World Projects”) are the core of The SMART Lounge™ learning ecosystem. Project outcomes are either pre-designed or, more often than not, proactively co-designed jointly by members and visioneers/senseis. Depending on the desired goals and outcome, project lengths also vary.
What remains constant (no matter the outcome or length) is that World Projects tackle real-world challenges and issues, and the superheroes saving the day are our members. Whether it be launching a Silicon Valley tech startup to help local businesses, aiding US Senators to draft new immigration laws, or building hospitals and schools in Burkina Faso, World Projects at The SMART Lounge™ are meant to be impactful both for the world and for our members.
Harvard Case Studies
Harvard is famous for deploying case studies and the case method in its illustrious Business and Law schools. Thousands of leaders that shake and move the world today (and will move the world tomorrow) have been molded and casted using this dynamic experiential learning tool (see here and here).
The SMART Lounge™ participates in Harvard’s Case Method Project and so much more to empower our members as future leaders, to participate in real case scenarios, to engage in healthy discussion/debate, and actively learn with equally brilliant peers — just the way Harvard does.

College & Career Corner (“CCC”) is where The SMART Lounge™ members have the opportunity to meet and directly interact with representatives from colleges or particular career industries. It’s a chance to hear it straight from the horse’s mouth.

Visioneering at The SMART Lounge™ encourage and inspire members to push beyond what they believe possible. To defy expectations. And to do things that have never been done. Visioneering is the creative force behind every unique world project that excite members to connect the dots and become one step closer to bringing the most audacious dreams and cherished goals to reality.
Visioneers at The SMART Lounge™ guide our members to enjoy and have fun designing their unique life story and charting their journey forward. All members are assigned their own Visioneer.
Smart Showcases
Sensei means “the one who walked the road ahead” or “Master” when roughly translated into English. At The SMART Lounge™ the title “Sensei” is granted to each of the expert speakers and mentors. Senseis at The SMART Lounge™ come from rich and diverse backgrounds; they are dynamic civic and business leaders, noted scientists and researchers, artists and athletes, activists and philanthropists, technology innovators, high achieving students, professors, and trailblazers in all walks of life.
Smart Showcases are essentially our version of TED Talk, where subject experts present and share for 20-minutes on their area of specialty. Members (and their guests) are invited to these exclusive evenings of fun, informative and culturally enriching discussions and Q&A sessions. (Tasty food and drinks often included).
Family Workshops
The SMART Lounge™ is dedicated to helping families thrive because thriving families are a key ingredient to providing great education for our members. We provide help and resources for parents to be involved just the right amount (not too much to be helicopter parents) at each stage of our members’ journeys.
Family Schooling is a Christian ministry that provides workshops, seminars and retreats for the entire family as well as for individual members of the family. Regular workshops include:
